This role is responsible for supporting customers and the internal team by understanding Sealing Devices’ products, pricing, and margin goals. The representative will act as a primary contact for customers, addressing inquiries about products, availability, applications, pricing, and credit terms. A key aspect of the role involves listening to customer needs and utilizing technical knowledge to recommend appropriate sealing solutions for demanding aerospace, defense, and government environments. The position requires creating accurate quotes and bids, taking orders, and gathering information from customers and vendors through various communication channels. Maintaining customer satisfaction involves keeping them informed about delivery timelines, warranty details, service information, and order updates. Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers and vendors is crucial, based on trust, responsiveness, and follow-through. Post-sale support, including problem-solving and ongoing assistance, is also a significant part of the job. The role involves maintaining accurate records using Oracle and internal systems, continuously learning about new products and technologies, and sharing customer feedback with product and design teams to drive improvements. Additionally, the representative will address quality concerns, follow established procedures, suggest process improvements, and help maintain a safe, clean, and compliant workplace in accordance with the Sealing Devices Quality System.
