About The Position

This role serves as the primary point of service contact for leadership and employees regarding human resource policies, procedures, and practices. It involves supporting and executing HR-related action changes, identifying tactics for employee engagement and alignment, and partnering with leaders to develop effective structures and systems. The position also focuses on identifying learning and development solutions, creating development and career plans, managing the recruitment process, and supporting the rollout of global HR Development strategies. Additionally, it requires demonstrating company culture and values, monitoring HR legal and government requirements, overseeing compensation and benefits programs, and administering the benefits plan. The role provides support and coaching to front-line managers on HR policies and practices, and requires a proactive approach to anticipating requirements and supporting management on various projects.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree business in administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of all legislative requirements within the USA.
  • Demonstrate an ability in team building and experience in successfully leading projects.
  • Solid practical knowledge of talent management disciplines, such as: performance management, succession planning, talent planning, competency development, compensation, employee relations, and talent analytics.
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong analytical, management and decision-making skills to assess training needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, and government law.
  • Ability to understand business plans and to develop impactful HR solutions in response to those plans.
  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently with all individuals both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of service contact for the leadership group and employees on interpreting human resource policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Support and execute all human resources related action changes including new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and cost centre changes, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and according to established deadlines.
  • Identify and apply tactics to ensure engagement and alignment of employees across the organization ensuring organization effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Partner with leaders in developing effective structures, systems, processes, and skills to support their business goals and talent requirements.
  • Discuss training requirements with departmental heads to improve skills throughout the company.
  • Identify appropriate learning and development solutions for individuals and teams.
  • Work with leaders and employees to create meaningful development and career plans.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the recruitment process, including reviewing job descriptions, screening of CV’s, attending interviews and selecting candidates.
  • Support our Regional HR function in rolling out our global HR Development strategy locally.
  • Demonstrate our culture and Rhenus values in the daily HR work.
  • Monitor HR legal and government requirements to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor the compensation and benefits programs to ensure internal and external consistency.
  • Ensure annual renewal falls in line with company budgets while maintaining a competitive compensation package for employees and potential new hires.
  • Administer benefits plan and the main point of contact for all inquiries, changes, or concerns.
  • Provide support and coaching to front line managers regarding Human Resources policies, practices, performance management, and interpretation.
  • Be proactive and anticipate requirements while working on various projects and/or supporting management.
