About The Position

Ventek Solutions is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing team onsite in either Findlay, Ohio or Owosso, Michigan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to customers and internal teams. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key point of contact for customers while managing orders, coordinating with production, and ensuring a high level of responsiveness and accuracy. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic company experiencing continued expansion. The role is onsite in our plant and is not eligible for remote work.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of customer service, account coordination, inside sales, or order management experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with a sense of urgency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • ERP/MRP system experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned customers
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently in ERP systems
  • Monitor open orders, shipment schedules, and customer demand changes
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, lead times, and delivery updates
  • Coordinate closely with production, scheduling, shipping, and sales teams to meet customer expectations
  • Resolve customer issues, complaints, discrepancies, and accounts receivable matters in a timely and professional manner
  • Support forecasting activities by reviewing demand trends and customer releases
  • Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and account documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve service levels and internal processes
