Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication (oral & written)
• Customer service oriented

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of related experience in wholesale distributor, heavy-duty and commercial after-market parts suppliers, is preferred, but not a requirement

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest level of customer expectations in the industry.
• Promote all product lines, features and benefits of our business unit.
• Process customer orders (order entry)
• Promote the use of online ordering
• Expedite customer stock orders, unit down and special orders
• Follow-up on back orders and stock transfers
• Determine customer needs for merchandise and provide information on current promotions
• Promote all product lines and solicit sales
• Assist in inventory control activities, such as cycling counts, annual inventory and maintaining bin location accuracy
• Provide problem resolution that arises with customers, manufacturers and associates
• Ensure efficiency and accuracy of the distribution team in areas such as receiving, picking, packing, stocking, shipping, etc.
• Monitor and reconcile part returns from customers, manufacturers including special returns, annual returns, cores and warranties
• Promote a safe and organized work environment as it relates to equipment and inventory
• Perform other assigned tasks/responsibilities as needed
