About The Position

Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) is building a talent pipeline for future Customer Service Representative opportunities. This role involves interfacing with customers via phone, email, and in person, providing prompt and effective service based on in-depth product knowledge. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a pipeline position, meaning applications will be considered for future openings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous customer service, customer support, account management, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, logistics, or industrial environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems, order management, or customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and requests.
  • Provide professional and timely support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Process customer orders, changes, and requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
  • Communicate order status, shipping information, and product updates to customers.
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and service.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
