CSR- Burlington, WI: As a Customer Service Representative in Commercial Lines, you will have the primary responsibility of managing customers' service needs. In this role, you will work with the account manager, prepare proposals, answer incoming phone calls, greet and direct insurance office visitors, enter change requests and endorsements, and maintain our agency management system with current information. This position is an in-office role for our Burlington, WI location. Open to hybrid.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience Commercial Insurance and hold a valid P&C license (preferred).
  • Knowledge of insurance coverages and an ability to communicate this clearly to clients and underwriters.
  • Keeps informed regarding industry information, and new product information.
  • Strong organizational, time management, critical thinker and decision-making skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and time constraints in a fast-paced environment with significant telephone and personal interruptions.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • MUST be willing to work in our Burlington, WI location.

Nice To Haves

  • Applied Epic experienced preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for client service.
  • Respond timely to client service requests as well as identify problems and develop strategic solutions.
  • Manage communications for new business quotes, renewals, policy changes, audits and billing.
  • Understand complex exposures including specialty product lines.
  • Prepare applications, proposals and related items for existing and new business.
  • Organize and prioritize workflows for assigned book(s) of business.
  • Provide expert professional support to our Agent Owners and help grow and retain business.
  • Assist clients in making appropriate coverage changes; inform and educate clients about coverage’s, exclusions, exposures, and audits and document electronic file accordingly.
  • Work with sales professionals to review client exposures, loss experience, current coverages and recommend appropriate products and services on an annual basis.
  • Utilize the agency management systems in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all pertinent information.
