About The Position

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for new member sales and creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. The role reports to the Club Manager and is classified as non-supervisory and non-exempt. The posting identifies the position as full-time or part-time.

Requirements

Honesty and a good work ethic.
Strong customer service skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Ability to stand and walk for at least 75% of the shift.
Ability to talk in person or on the phone for at least 75% of the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for less than 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

Greet potential members and provide a positive customer experience.
Perform front-desk tasks, including answering phone calls politely and assisting with questions or concerns.
Handle information calls and tours.
Assist with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, BCM amenity usage, and updates to member account information.
Address member service issues and questions, forwarding them to the Club Manager, Manager in Training, or Team Lead as needed.
Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
Communicate questions, concerns, or issues to a supervisor in a timely manner.
Listen empathetically, identify and analyze problems, explore solutions, and seek additional assistance when needed.
Interact with customers, coworkers, and the public with tact and appropriate behavior and language.
