About The Position

Customer Service Representatives are passionate animal lovers who provide excellent service to human and pet guests. As the first point of contact, they build positive relationships with guests. The role involves welcoming guests, handling reservations and calls, and supporting day-to-day pet hotel operations. The company is employee-owned and operated, is expanding, and offers growth opportunities. It operates more than 80 locations across 26 states and has been in business for 30 years.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 1 year of professional animal experience.
Love of animals.
Maintain a professional manner.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds or more.
Ability to stand and walk for eight hours a day.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use a computer system.
Ability to handle dogs on leashes and work around disinfectant and sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and animal excretions.
Ability to identify animal body language and behavior and follow safe handling procedures.

Responsibilities

Handle main lobby operations, including check-ins, check-outs, guest visits, and tours.
Answer general questions and handle calls professionally.
Schedule reservations and appointments.
Maintain files and perform data entry.
Contribute to facility cleanliness.
Welcome human and pet guests and provide excellent customer service.
Identify animal body language and behavior and follow safe handling procedures.
Escort pets to and from their rooms.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Communicate with management and other team members.
