About The Position

Quest is a leader in technology management, offering a portfolio of professional, cloud, and managed services, as well as product and infrastructure solutions. This role is responsible for handling inquiries from Quest clients and the IT Department, including providing quotes, processing and tracking orders, and researching distribution resources for optimal pricing and availability. The representative will also utilize manufacturer resources to answer technical questions, configure hardware, and enter client activity into the Quest CRM. Daily communication with outside sales representatives, partners, clients, and internal departments is expected.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Customer Service in the Technology field.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize client and vendor requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Effective customer handling and decision making.
  • Ability to handle large volume of call and email requests from clients and vendors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of Excel and Word.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time with proven time management skills.
  • Detailed person with the ability to follow instructions with little supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Working in the technology field for a VAR or Retailer a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries from Quest client base and Quest IT Department.
  • Provide quotes, process and track orders in a timely manner.
  • Research various distribution resources to obtain best pricing and availability.
  • Utilize manufacturer's reps, technical support personnel, and websites to answer technical questions.
  • Utilize manufacturer's websites for hardware configuration and pricing.
  • Enter client activity into Quest CRM.
  • Track and follow up with clients on all quotes provided.
  • Daily communication with outside and Partner Sale Reps regarding client opportunities and quotes.
  • Daily communication with Quest client regarding order status.
  • Daily communication with Quest internal departments such as IT, Accounting, Purchasing, Shipping, and receiving, as necessary.

Benefits

  • Pay range is $27-$29/hr.
  • Quest recognizes 24 pay periods per calendar year.
