Requirements
- Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to display tact, diplomacy, and calmness while interacting with customers and co-workers.
- Above average computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to pick up new skills and industry knowledge quickly, with an eagerness to learn more about the company and the reason behind each step of the job.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Communicate clearly via telephone and computer.
- Prolonged sitting, occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling and twisting.
- Occasional light lifting and carrying up to 10 to 20 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Provides pricing, product information, and delivery information to store personnel, as well as taking orders and upselling when opportunities arise.
- Processes warranty claims, special orders, and RMA’s in a timely manner.
- Records all calls and communications with customers in the business system, while monitoring the customer care in-box.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
