About The Position

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting the Circulation Division’s: Customer Service, Tech Support, Operations, In-bound and Out-bound calls and Sales for all circulation products.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of experience in administrative support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and proof-reading skills.
• Familiarity with event coordination.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be committed to teamwork and able to collaborate well with employees from all departments as well as the public.

Responsibilities

• Support customer service with new subscriber premium item fulfillment and tracking.
• Represent the Gazette in a professional and courteous manner while conducting inbound and outbound calls to existing and potential subscribers.
• Answer questions from walk in customers.
• Assist Home Delivery operations with entering late routes in the IVR, Client Portal and the email portal.
• Assist customers with tech support for all e-edition products including CSG, Denver Gazette and Colorado Politics.
• Assist Press-one call center with over- flow calls.
• Communicate with the call center to discuss/resolve customer escalations.
• Respond to all emails in escalation, Colorado Politics, Customer care and Denver Gazette.
• Assist with in-bound and outbound retention calls.
• Be responsible for the Last Day flyers to home delivery staff.
• Maintain and track down customer service orders that need assistance.
• Provide coverage to front desk to include assisting both walk in customers and guests with customer service issues, directing them to our Obits/Legal advertising team or other assistance as needed and answering calls from the public that have not been routed through our comprehensive phone tree.
• Actively participate and support departmental goals and objectives.
• Assist with special projects.
