Requirements

  • Associates degree or certificate required; or in lieu of a degree, years of experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years’ experience providing exceptional customer service and inside sales in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of compressed gas products is highly beneficial.
  • Caelus or other ERP systems experience a plus
  • Proficiency in all MS Office skills – particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated team player with a passion to succeed.
  • Strong self-management skills
  • High degree of energy, initiative, and integrity

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of compressed gas products is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer inquiries/communications via email, phone, or other means in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Support the sales team to ensure customer quotes and orders are accurate and complete.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards all customers (both internal and external) and promote company products and services.
  • Respond timely and effectively to customer inquiries and when necessary to customer concerns/complaints.
  • Attend regular customer service departmental meetings.
  • Coordinate and manage in-house follow-ups on pending quotations, proposals, and customer inquiries.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within the medical, specialty gas, fill plants and industrial markets for Superior’s product lines.
  • Follow-up on new customer leads as identified by management.
  • Responsible for actively ensuring customer base retention.
  • Provide back-up support to other sales/customer service members.
