About The Position

The British Swim School of North Broward is seeking a part-time swim instructor and customer service representative for their Coral Springs and Sunrise locations. This role is crucial for providing an excellent customer experience to swim families, working poolside, and serving as a swim instructor and lifeguard. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be computer-proficient, and a quick learner with the swim school's database program. Experience working with children and knowledge of basic swim techniques are required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s), may be obtained during training.
  • Experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and breaking down the pool deck area before and after each shift.
  • Checking water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons.
  • Welcoming students and parents/guardians to the pool deck area.
  • Answering customers' questions about their account, their child’s progress, or about the program.
  • Assist swim instructors and managers when needed during swim lessons.
  • Light office duties such as answering phones, customer communication and database entries.
