This role is responsible for supporting branch sales efforts, including new business development, by maintaining relationships with existing accounts through proactive communication about new products, services, supplies, pricing, and discounts. The representative will also manage shipment schedules, generate sales by providing product information, and educate customers on product features and benefits. Additionally, the role includes managing cash drawers, maintaining sales records, monitoring competitive activity, and staying current with industry trends. Collaboration with the Branch Manager and other departments is crucial for problem resolution and customer satisfaction. The position may also require assisting in the warehouse, including inventory counts and operating a forklift.
