This role is responsible for supporting branch sales efforts, including new business development, by maintaining house accounts through active communication with dealers. The representative will inform customers about new product launches, services, supplies, prices, and discounts via outbound calls and in-house discussions. They will also conduct outbound calls to existing and lost customer accounts, maintain sales programs within their assigned territory, and provide excellent customer service through various channels. The position involves executing all aspects of the sales function, recommending alternate products, obtaining and monitoring shipment dates, and generating sales by providing product and technical information. Additionally, the role includes educating customers on product features and benefits, managing showroom stock, collaborating with the Branch Manager on problem resolution, processing cash drawers, maintaining sales records, and monitoring competitive activity.
