About The Position

The Neil Jones Food Company is an industry leader, processing superior quality fresh-packed, vine-ripened California tomatoes and Pacific Northwest fruit. Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation’s discerning foodservice, retail, industrial and institutional customers with the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 50 years. NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA. We are looking for an on-site Bilingual Customer Service Representative III to assist with language interpretation and communication as necessary to facilitate order management with international customers and order management, process assigned international customer orders and/or other more complex customer orders from start to finish, including delivery of goods and ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently at our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, WA.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business management, sales and marketing, or related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties of the job.
  • Export and Bilingual Spanish/English language skills.
  • At least 8 years of customer service or sales and marketing experience in an internal service role.
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge with Microsoft Office and data entry; working knowledge of PeopleSoft (ERP) order fulfillment application.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check including employment and educational verification.

Responsibilities

  • Processes customer orders and requests for information from the assigned customer region accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics/Transportation and Warehouse teams to ensure product availability and delivery meets customer expectations to fulfill on time with the right product.
  • Confirm orders or delivery delay/inventory issues back to customers in a timely and professional manner, documenting any issue in the order fulfillment software.
  • Communicates order, inventory, freight details and collection needs to customers and/or internal departments.
  • Follows company procedures / policies, exercising knowledge in international export shipping, documentation and compliance.
