This is an in-office position located at our Urbandale, IA facility. This position is considered non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four years of customer service experience in manufacturing/distribution industries
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of at least one product area
  • Ability to size and/or configure products
  • Specialized knowledge of accounts/lines of business
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP
  • Adaptable to change

Nice To Haves

  • Business/technical degree preferred.
  • certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming orders promptly and manage orders, as needed, through production, shipping, and invoicing.
  • Provide proactive status updates to customers regarding order changes or delays.
  • Provide timely and efficient assistance to customers in resolving problems after shipment; including tracking shipments and deliveries, invoice disputes, and product returns.
  • Own communications and relationships for key customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and help drive business growth.
  • Provide technical product information to customers for all Nott products.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations for house account customers.
  • Support outside sales representatives with the quotation process for standard products, as requested.
  • Participate in projects and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
