About The Position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing accurate information and effective solutions in response to customer inquiries related to products, services, and complaints. This role involves interacting with customers through various channels, ensuring a high level of service aligned with federal customer service standards, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 1–2 years of customer service or call center experience
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to adapt to evolving program guidance and procedures
  • Professional demeanor consistent with federal customer service standards

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Access and update databases to retrieve and record customer information, complaints, and orders
  • Process orders for products or services, including calculating charges and verifying details
  • Handle billing processes, payments, and customer claims accurately
  • Manage returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies
  • Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and transactions
  • Update customer account information and ensure data accuracy
  • Provide solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines
  • Adapt to changing processes, policies, and program requirements as needed
