Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a must.
  • Ability to learn and navigate an ERP or AS400 system.
  • Ability to recall facts, situational data, and procedural details.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and able to handle job stress with professionalism and grace.
  • Exceptional teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Consistent, dependable attendance.
  • Willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Process production orders, sample requests, claims, and more, ensuring timely responses and addressing customer needs with care and attention.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and various departments, ensuring that all issues and requests are coordinated and resolved efficiently.
  • Manage daily reports and take necessary actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of assigned accounts, handling orders, samples, inquiries, and other tasks to uphold our commitment to exceptional service.
  • Process orders and sample requests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and internal departments.
  • Review and take action based on reports, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Enter new customer data, coordinate orders, samples, and account setup, collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations and customer delight.
  • Tackle any additional functions or special projects that arise, embracing the dynamic nature of the role.
  • Process stock releases: new stock, revised stock, samples.
  • Digitally check stock releases.
  • Process product transfers: components, raw material, and finished goods.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments: forward shipping paperwork, confirm order pick up, etc.
  • Revise invoices when applicable.
  • Confirm pricing.
  • Send inventory reports.
  • Turn over year-end files.
  • Work closely with other departments: production, accounting, and shipping and receiving.
  • Adhere to company procedures, upholding standards of excellence and direction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
