Customer Service Representative I
About The Position
RJ Schinner, a growing, family-owned wholesale redistributor with over 70 years of success, is seeking a Customer Service Representative I. With 20 distribution centers throughout the US and over 600 employees, RJ Schinner provides disposable paper, cleaning, and food service packaging products to distributors in 48 states. Headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI, RJ Schinner was started in 1951 and ranks as the 45th most successful private company on Deloitte’s 2023 Wisconsin 75. The Customer Service Representative ensures customer satisfaction by answering product and delivery questions and suggesting information about other products. This role processes orders, prepares correspondence, and tracks customer orders, working to resolve any delivery issues.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of effective customer support experience, preferably in a wholesale redistribution environment
- Strong phone skills
- Dynamic active listening
- Impassioned customer satisfaction focus
- Solid ability to adapt/respond to different types of situations
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Eclipse (AS400)/Solar (Window based) system
Responsibilities
- Builds sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
- Meets call handling and order entry quotas
- Handles complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
- Keeps records and track the pricing for customers
- Reviews Deduction Lists, Credit Report, and Pricing Over-Ride Report
- Communicates with Warehouse Managers on late, large and/or add on of orders
- Works closely with other Customer Service Reps to encourage a teamwork environment
- Expedites Reports (back orders/open orders)
- Tracks status of products and stock requests with Purchasing team
