About The Position

Sentara Martha Jefferson is currently seeking a full-time remote Customer Service Representative. This role is primarily responsible for handling incoming calls to effectively address issues related to either member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues or patient services needs such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling. Candidates must reside in the Harrisonburg or Charlottsville area and be able to travel on-site if connectivity issues arise.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of customer service experience required
Previous data entry experience required
Prior scheduling experience required

Nice To Haves

Familiar with Epic beaker preferred
Experience in a high-volume call center preferred
Healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

Handle all areas of customer service as it pertains to research and resolution of telephone inquiries from members or patients.
Address issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues.
Assist with patient services needs such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling.
