About The Position

Sentara Health is seeking a full-time remote Customer Service Representative. This role is primarily responsible for handling incoming calls to effectively address issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues, or patient services needs such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling. Candidates must reside in the Charlottesville or Virginia Beach area and be able to travel on-site if connectivity issues arise.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Required
Two years of customer service experience required
Previous data entry experience required
Prior scheduling experience required

Nice To Haves

Experience in a high-volume call center preferred

Responsibilities

Research and resolution of telephone inquiries from members or patients.
Handling incoming calls to effectively address issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues.
Addressing patient services needs such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling.
