About The Position

We specialize in municipal, medical, and utility collections, and pride ourselves on providing high-quality, respectful customer care. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Collections team. If you are skilled at navigating sensitive conversations and enjoy helping others, this role may be for you!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; and
- 1 – 3 years related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer and keyboarding skills
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
- Situation analysis and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new computer systems
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Manage and work assigned collection accounts using internal systems, including initiating outbound calls, responding to inquiries, sending correspondence, and updating account information.
- Handle inbound calls and consumer requests professionally while maintaining accurate notes and account statuses until resolution or escalation.
- Support team operations by meeting scheduling expectations, assisting with training new employees, and performing other duties as assigned.
