About The Position

This person is an ambitious and enthusiastic multi-tasker who shows great attention to detail and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Having direct contact with our guests and vendors, it is important to be pleasant and professional in personality, appearance, and attire. The position provides prompt assistance, on the phone and in person, dealing with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills. The position provides administrative assistance and customer service support at the corporate office for our V.I.P. family of companies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have and display good ethics and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years previous receptionist experience in a corporate environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Covering the front desk/reception area.
  • Greeting guests and vendors.
  • Receiving and logging very important loan packages and deliveries.
  • Answering the phone, taking messages or fielding/answering all routine and non-routine questions.
  • Sorting and distributing mail.
  • Monitoring the companies LiveChat forum.
  • Providing support for setup and cleanup of events including light technical support in meeting rooms.
  • Assisting our IT department with service tickets and follow up calls.
  • Assisting with monthly invoicing.
  • Escorting Vendors.
  • Delivering packages (up to 20 lbs.).
  • Working independently and as part of a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects.
