  • Ability to infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
  • Ability to perform forward bending at the waist.
  • Ability to crouch/squat.
  • Ability to reach continuously; up, down and forward.
  • Ability to reach above 72 inches occasionally.
  • Ability to reach down to perform tasks such as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes.
  • Ability to reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential.
  • Ability to use one or both hands continuously during the day.
  • Ability to perform frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists when shaping pizza dough.
  • Ability to manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter.
  • Ability to perform frequent and/or forceful pinching when assembling cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Ability to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
  • Ability to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.

Responsibilities

  • Remove trash and perform other outside tasks.
  • Operate in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
  • Handle sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
  • Work with food odors.
  • Work with cornmeal dust.
  • Work in cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
  • Handle hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher.
  • Work with sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
  • Talk and hear on telephone.
  • Perform near and mid-range vision tasks for most in-store tasks.
  • Utilize depth perception.
  • Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Direct activities.
  • Perform repetitive tasks.
  • Work alone and with others.
  • Work under stress.
  • Meet strict quality control standards.

  • Lift cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Stack cases onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
  • Carry large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces.
  • Carry pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds.
  • Carry trays of pizza dough (three at a time, approximately 12 pounds per tray).
  • Push to move trays which are placed on dollies.
  • Pull trays.
  • Navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
  • Perform forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station.
  • Perform forward bending at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.
  • Crouch/Squat to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
  • Reach continuously; up, down and forward.
  • Reach above 72 inches occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves.
  • Reach down to perform tasks such as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes.
