About The Position

The following general description applies to all hourly store team members. Please read the detailed information listed below. This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing, to process orders accurately. The role requires the ability to perform basic math calculations, make correct monetary change, and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and working in cramped quarters. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, and near/mid-range vision with depth perception. Temperaments needed include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbal with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
