About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is also a key responsibility. Training, including orientation, is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers, both in person and over the phone. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations for transactions, making correct monetary change, and utilizing computer systems for order entry. The work environment includes a range of temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and cramped quarters. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing, and performing various hand tasks with good coordination.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add/subtract/multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
  • Standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying up to 30 pounds, pushing/pulling trays on dollies, climbing, stopping/bending at the waist for 30-45 seconds repeatedly, crouching/squatting, reaching up/down/forward, performing hand tasks using hand-eye coordination, and utilize various tools, equipment, and work aids.
