About The Position
The Customer Service Rep operates equipment, prepares products, processes customer orders by telephone and in person, and performs inventory, stocking, cleaning, and other facility tasks. The role may also involve delivering flyers and door hangers. Work conditions include changing and sometimes adverse weather during outdoor tasks and in-store temperatures ranging from 34 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas. Additional driver duties include delivering products by car to customers’ doors, delivering flyers and door hangers, navigating to addresses within a designated delivery area, and driving in varying weather conditions. Driver requirements include a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record meeting company standards, at least two years of driving history, and an insured vehicle.
Requirements
- Basic mathematical skills to make correct monetary change.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- For driver positions: valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- For driver positions: minimum of two years of driving history and an insured vehicle.
- For driver positions: ability to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk, lift, and carry approximately 3 to 30 pounds.
- Ability to infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder for tasks such as changing the reader board, cleaning walls, and performing maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility daily.
- Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by telephone and in person.
- Make correct monetary change using basic mathematical skills; a calculator may be used.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- For driver positions, deliver products by car to customers’ doors.
