About The Position
Join the team at the world’s No. 1 pizza company. This role involves preparing pizzas and other products, tending the oven, taking orders, assisting customers, preparing products for busy periods, and cleaning equipment and the store daily. The posting describes flexible part-time hours. The work is primarily performed standing, with walking for short distances and occasional desk-based paperwork. Duties involve frequent reaching and continuous hand use, including shaping dough and handling pizza-making tools. The position also requires lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, and occasionally climbing, bending, crouching, or squatting.
Requirements
- Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing for most tasks, walking short distances, and frequent reaching and hand use.
- Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and place cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
- Ability to carry items, including pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds and pizza dough trays weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
- Ability to push or pull trays on a dolly, occasionally climb stairs or a ladder, and bend, crouch, or squat as needed.
- Eye-hand coordination and ability to grasp and manipulate items and tools, including pizza dough, boxes, a phone, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
