About The Position

To be a successful Customer Service Specialist, you should be customer-focused, detail oriented, and efficient. In addition, you should be polite, reliable, knowledgeable, and adaptable.

Requirements

  • Good organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to organize tasks and work independently
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Strong math skills, including the ability to work and understand fractions and decimals is required
  • Must have excellent attendance history as outstanding attendance is critical for this position
  • Strong outlook and excel skills are necessary
  • The ability to exhibit a high degree of professionalism, customer service and enthusiasm
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in investigating and resolving technical product issues

Responsibilities

  • Obtains and retains extensive product knowledge
  • Takes incoming and makes outgoing calls to provide customers with product selection support
  • Verifies orders are designated properly and all information is correct prior to submission to order entry
  • Type up orders for submittal to order entry
  • Inputs warranty registration information into database
  • Communicate with customers and coworkers in a professional manner
  • Works in conjunction with other departments to further improve processes and quality standards
  • Consults with Quality and Engineering Departments to communicate new product applications/issues
  • Responsible for inputting individual call information into call data tracking tool
  • Provide assistance to walk-in customers
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned by management
