About The Position

As a customer service representative, you’ll be responsible for entering daily orders, arranging for hauling, completing documentation associated with orders and provide excellent customer service to our customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in customer service environment.
  • Order entry systems experience required.
  • Excellent computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Basic dairy product knowledge.
  • Ability to operate telephone, fax, scanner, and printer.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and enter customer orders with an awareness of special customer requirements.
  • Arrange for hauling of associated orders.
  • Develop an understanding of the order process flow from order input to cash collections and perform any and all required follow-up actions.
  • Provide post-sales service for customer by resolving billing issues, providing certificates and product statements, and initiates the quality complaint process.
  • Solicit information from customers regarding their specific and general needs.
  • Determine root cause for problems as they arise and resolves them based on knowledge and experience.
  • Anticipate problems and finds solutions to providing excellent customer service.
  • Provide back-up assistance to others in the department.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Manager, Sales Planning & Customer Services.
  • Uniformly enforce policies and procedures among associates.
  • Establish a positive working relationship with all clients and sales teams.
  • Provide written and oral communication to customers, sales department, and other inter-company departments.
  • Communicates with all members of leadership to help identify any customer issues and keep manager updated with information, observations, trends, or changes they observe.
  • Monitor billing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
