About The Position

Carries out all customer service activities such as responding to inquiries, processing orders and handling complaints, in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. Other responsibilities include phone duties, greeting visitors, scheduling and other clerical duties as directed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or approved equivalent in experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Must be organized and display excellent communication skills and a personable attitude
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor at all times

Responsibilities

  • Process and input customer orders and purchase orders
  • Check for product availability
  • Assist Account Managers with orders and special requests
  • Coordinate special, last minute shipping requests with transportation and operations department
  • Ensure proper invoicing of accounts including issuing credits
  • Work with Accounts Receivable about customer accounts
  • Answer phone calls, keep up with daily emails and operate various types of office machines and computers necessary to perform duties
  • Assist General Manager as needed
  • Other general office duties as assigned
