The Customer Service Representative is focused on servicing customers by providing product and service information, resolving product and service problems, and processing orders. This position reports the Service Center Manger. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience
  • Computer experience, ability to accurately type numbers
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work deadlines
  • Ability to work in fast paced, team environment to meet required deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain broad knowledge of clients, products and services of organization
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustments; following up to ensure resolution
  • Communicate with customers to determine expected delivery date and time
  • Enter and track orders in our AS400 system
  • Accurately process phone, fax and email orders by data entry
