About The Position

This role involves welcoming visitors, answering inquiries, and maintaining a safe and organized reception area. The position also requires managing customer relationships through various communication channels, maintaining the bookshop's appearance and stock, and handling incoming mail, orders, and invoices. The role contributes to team continuity by documenting and communicating actions and needs. A commitment to the Crossway publishing ministry and vision is essential, along with a love for God's Word and active participation in a local church.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Maintains relationships with customers by resolving issues via e-mail, phone, or fax.
  • Maintains our bookshop by checking stock and appearance daily and assisting walk-in customers.
  • Contributes to the team by handling incoming mail, orders, and invoices.
  • Perform related and/or special work as assigned.
