Inside Sales Assistant

About The Position

Serve as the branch’s key customer contact, providing order support and product information. Work closely with Outside Sales Representatives, Production Personnel, Inside Sales, Credit, and Delivery to support order fulfillment. Engage with customers by phone, email, and face-to-face to take and enter orders and assess current customer needs. The role calls for a resourceful team player with a positive, professional attitude and strong customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Use computer systems to process and review dealer orders, requests, and system-generated acknowledgements. Perform other duties as assigned. Local travel is required, with less than 10% travel expected. The position requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. It also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength, including lifting up to 50 pounds depending on job duties.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
1–2 years of experience in a customer service role.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Personable, enthusiastic, and engaging personality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet the physical requirements, including prolonged standing, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 50 pounds depending on job duties.
