About The Position

This role involves handling customer inquiries, providing quotes, and processing customer orders. Key responsibilities include verifying the accuracy of purchase orders, reconciling payments, and managing customer shipping information. The representative will address customer concerns via phone and email, enter orders into the system, and review purchase and sales orders. They will also act as a liaison between departments to ensure customer issues are communicated and escalated effectively, navigate the customer database to provide accurate information, and maintain excellent customer service and professionalism. Following up with customers on order status or missing information is also a crucial part of the role. Collaboration with the internal sales team and teammates is expected to provide assistance when needed.

Requirements

  • 6+ months experience with ERP or CRM system (they use SAP and Salesforce)
  • Basic Microsoft Office (within Excel must be able to use worksheets, tables, but does not need to know formulas)
  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High School Diploma

Responsibilities

  • Take inquiries from customers inquiring to provide quotes and put through customer's orders
  • Verify accuracy of customer purchase orders and reconcile customer payments, and customer shipping information
  • Answer customers concerns/questions via phone and email
  • Process incoming customer inquiries and triage appropriately within the company
  • Enter orders and understand order processing, reviewing purchase orders and sales orders
  • Serve as liaison between departments to ensure customer issues are communicated and escalated appropriately
  • Navigate through customer data base and provide correct information to customers
  • Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Follow up with customers or order status, missing information, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal sales team and teammates to assist when needed.
