About The Position

The Customer Service Manager is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. In this role you’ll lead a customer service team, seek out new customers, cultivate and maintain new customers, and serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs. This role may require periodic travel to our other locations. A highlight of your day-to-day will include: Overseeing the day-to-day interactions/communication between the inside sales representatives and customers. Interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; motivating, coaching, evaluating, rewarding and disciplining employees. Assisting in the preparation of bids. Performing procurement duties. Tracking all data and contacts in accordance with the Key Account Management Planning guidelines. Interfacing with Human Resources, and the General Manager regarding employee performance-related issues and addressing each situation appropriately.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated sales and supervisory experience preferably in a precast concrete or building materials environment (minimum of 2 years).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, suppliers, and co-workers.
  • Ability to write clear and concise documents to convey technical material to customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Email, Spreadsheet, Word Processor), database administration and computer programs related to sales and customer service.
