About The Position

Our client, a leading installer of rental and permanent fencing since 1948, is seeking a Customer Service Inside Sales Representative to join their collaborative team. Requirements

  • Background check required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (no DUI/DWI).
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • MS Outlook, Excel, and Word proficient.
  • Ability to use search engines for research.
  • Ability to multi-task on projects.
  • Highly motivated, positive team player with excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Business/Communications Degree is a plus.
  • CRM system knowledge, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls and e-mails from potential customers who receive solicited information through advertisements.
  • Explain products or services and prices and answer questions from customers.
  • Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone, e-mail, social media, or other internet sources to solicit leads for fencing bid projects and sales.
  • Communicate with bidders and businesses to describe products or services, persuade potential bid partners to use the company and our products or services.
  • Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and leads in a CRM system.
  • Obtain customer information such as name, address, and best time to contact the computer system and notify the appropriate sales manager.
  • Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted.
  • Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as telephone directories, magazine reply cards, and lists purchased from other organizations.
  • Provide research and intelligence regarding company profiling information, key executives, or developments for the sales team to incorporate in their strategic plans.
  • Develop an understanding of our products and services to successfully deliver our value propositions to create or build client/prospect relationships for future reference and appointment setting.
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns, mailings, or events to grow existing accounts or develop new opportunities.
  • Interface with the Sales team to coordinate appointments, follow up on the next steps, and understand how to develop the account strategically.
  • Conduct client or market surveys to obtain information about potential customers.
