Boscov's is seeking experienced Customer Service Desk Associates to join their retail team. This role involves developing relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met quickly and efficiently, and providing excellent customer service. Requirements

  • Ability and desire to actively engage customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Prior retail and/or customer service experience.
  • Ability and desire to work well with the public, management and coworkers.
  • Communication; verbal, written and by telephone with customers, coworkers and management.
  • Possess basic math skills.
  • Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and telxon.
  • Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Build customer confidence, provide accurate information, and promote products through point of successful sale.
  • Establish professional, yet personalized rapport with each customer in order to close sales and provide the best customer experience.
  • Provide customer service by completing customer requests and/or resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all transactions and paperwork, adhering to all company policies & procedures.
  • Make storewide announcements over public address system.
  • Handle layaway storage, maintain records, receive payments and release merchandise.
