About The Position

As a Customer Service Department Manager, you are an effective problem solver and oversee the communication hub of the store. You manage a variety of key services that support associates and make a lasting impression on customers.

Requirements

  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage key services supporting associates and customers
  • Willingness to train, coach, and lead by example
  • Capability to execute customer service associate duties accurately and timely
  • Skill in developing service counter associate skills
  • Proficiency in assessing associate performance and providing feedback
  • Ability to develop and implement solutions for customer and department needs
  • Experience monitoring and supporting online order and pick-up services
  • Availability to work on-site during day, evening, and weekend shifts

Responsibilities

  • Motivate associates to deliver excellent customer service – train, coach and lead by example
  • Execute all duties of a customer service associate and ensure department duties are completed accurately and timely
  • Develop service counter associate’s skills
  • Assess associate performance and provide feedback to improve the quality of customer service and Von Maur store services
  • Develop and implement solutions to solve customer problems and department needs
  • Monitors and supports store online order and pick up in store services
  • Be available to work on-site during day, evening, and weekend shifts
