About The Position

Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Customer Service Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. In this role, you will support the North America Customer Service team through customer interactions, shared inbox management, order management activities, and process improvement initiatives. You will partner with Customer Service Representatives to deliver exceptional customer service while gaining hands-on experience in customer service operations, supply chain processes, and business automation projects, including support of the Customer Service Inbox AI Agent initiative.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • Interest in customer service operations, business process improvement, automation, or artificial intelligence applications in business.
  • Must be a currently enrolled student
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
  • Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the Customer Service shared inbox and respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, quotes, shipments, lead times, documentation requests, and other service-related questions.
  • Research customer inquiries using SAP, internal systems, and available documentation while partnering with Customer Service Representatives, Logistics, Planning, Quality, and Sales to resolve issues.
  • Support routine customer service operations including quote preparation, order follow-up, shipment tracking, returns coordination, reporting, and operational improvement projects.
  • Participate in the Customer Service Inbox AI Agent project through testing, email classification, process documentation, automation analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
