About The Position

This position acts as a mediator between retailers and manufacturing, handling emails and phone calls from retailers and corporate regarding acknowledged orders. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and repair personnel. Additionally, the Customer Service Clerk provides backup for the switchboard operator on a multi-line telephone system, answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain a record of all upholstery repairs and reschedule all involved orders.
Update the Silao spreadsheet with repair information.
Answer all email and phone inquiries regarding acknowledged orders within 24 hours.
Review the WIP report received from corporate monthly.
Work closely with SPMs and repair personnel to facilitate order progression through production.
Answer phone calls regarding acknowledged orders and SRs.
Serve as the switchboard operator.
Assist the SR team with inserting SRs as needed.
Update shipment and billing information on SRs several times per week.
Update SR spreadsheets (fabric, insert, and parts).
Receive the Supervisors report from Plant 2 on Thursdays and update notes on each order's development.
Reschedule orders if necessary.
Perform other duties/special or non-routine assignments as instructed.
