About The Position

This position acts as a mediator between retailers and manufacturing, handling inquiries via email and phone regarding acknowledged orders. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and repair personnel. Additionally, the Customer Service Clerk provides backup for the switchboard operator, managing a multi-line telephone system and directing incoming calls.

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
Ability to work closely with SPMs and repair personnel.
Proficiency in managing a multi-line telephone system.
Experience with updating spreadsheets and reports.

Experience as a switchboard operator.

Responsibilities

Maintain a record of all upholstery repairs and reschedule affected orders.
Update the Silao spreadsheet with repair information.
Respond to all email and phone inquiries regarding acknowledged orders within 24 hours.
Review the WIP report from corporate monthly.
Collaborate with SPMs and repair personnel to facilitate order progression through production.
Handle phone calls related to acknowledged orders and SRs.
Operate the switchboard.
Assist the SR team with inserting SRs as needed.
Update shipment and billing information on SRs multiple times per week.
Update SR spreadsheets for fabric, inserts, and parts.
Receive supervisor reports from Plant 2 on Thursdays and update order development notes.
Reschedule orders if necessary based on supervisor reports.
Perform other duties, special, or non-routine assignments as instructed.
