About The Position

AO is expanding and seeking motivated, people-focused individuals ready to learn, grow, and build a rewarding career from home. As a Remote Customer Service & Benefits Representative, you'll work virtually with individuals and families who are seeking information about available benefits. You'll answer questions, explain coverage options, assist with enrollment, and provide ongoing client support. No previous insurance experience is required. We provide comprehensive training, licensing guidance, one-on-one mentorship, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be physically located within the United States
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Have access to a computer or laptop with webcam and microphone
• Maintain reliable high-speed internet
• Have a quiet, professional workspace
• Be comfortable communicating through Zoom
• Be willing and able to obtain the required state Life & Health Insurance License

Responsibilities

• Connect with clients through scheduled phone and Zoom appointments
• Answer questions regarding available benefits and coverage
• Listen to each client's needs and provide personalized guidance
• Explain life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options
• Help eligible clients complete applications and enrollment
• Provide ongoing customer service following enrollment
• Assist with policy reviews, beneficiary updates, and service requests
• Build trust through active listening and professional communication
• Maintain consistent follow-up with clients
• Develop long-term relationships with individuals and families
• Deliver a friendly, professional, service-focused experience
• Manage appointments and follow-up activities
• Maintain accurate digital client records
• Use Zoom, email, and web-based systems
• Follow company procedures and applicable state requirements
• Collaborate with teammates in a supportive virtual environment
