About The Position

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Customer Service Attendant to support food service operations at client locations. The role involves receiving and organizing product deliveries, stocking and maintaining merchandise displays, monitoring inventory, and providing professional customer service. The attendant follows food safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards while helping maintain attractive and organized product areas.

Requirements

Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees.
Ability to perform calculations in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods, and other foodservice products at client locations.
Merchandise products according to established standards and keep shelves, coolers, vending machines, market displays, and designated product areas fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged, or stale products.
Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
Maintain attractive, clean, and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages, and customer preferences.
Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards.
