About The Position

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a friendly, hard-working Customer Service Attendant in Akron, Ohio. The role involves receiving and organizing merchandise deliveries, stocking and maintaining product displays, monitoring inventory, and providing professional customer service at client locations. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m.–7:30 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. AVI Foodsystems, founded in 1960, is a food service company focused on quality ingredients, service, and value.

Requirements

Ability to perform calculations using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods, and other foodservice products at client locations.
Merchandise products according to established standards and keep shelves, coolers, vending machines, market displays, and designated product areas stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged, or stale products.
Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
Maintain attractive, clean, and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages, and customer preferences.
Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards.
