About The Position

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Customer Service Attendant Floater to provide food merchandising and customer service at client locations. The role involves receiving and organizing deliveries, stocking and maintaining product displays, monitoring inventory needs, and following food safety and sanitation standards. The position requires travel between various locations using the employee’s personal vehicle; a company vehicle and gas card are not provided.

Requirements

Ability to travel between various locations using a personal vehicle; a company vehicle and gas card are not provided.
Outgoing personality and ability to promote products.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees.
Ability to perform calculations using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods, and other foodservice products at client locations.
Merchandise products according to established standards and keep shelves, coolers, vending machines, market displays, and designated product areas fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged, or stale products.
Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
Maintain attractive, clean, and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages, and customer preferences.
Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards.
