About The Position
The Customer Service Associate (Cashier) provides prompt, efficient, courteous, and quality service to customers at a convenience store. The role includes operating a cash register, greeting and assisting customers, helping with fuel dispensers, handling cash, performing light janitorial duties, and completing other assigned duties. The associate works variable schedules and must follow safety procedures, maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the Dress Code Policy, and maintain a friendly demeanor toward customers and coworkers. Duties and responsibilities may change based on business needs and organizational requirements.
Requirements
- Must be able to work various schedules.
- Ability to accurately handle money.
- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to perform simple math, including counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly service to customers.
- Greet and assist customers.
- Operate the cash register to enter convenience store and gasoline purchases; assistance is available if needed.
- Account for all monies, cigarettes, and lottery tickets on the assigned shift.
- Check product expiration dates and face off product.
- Follow proper safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist customers with fuel dispensers.
- Perform light janitorial duties and other duties as assigned.
