About The Position
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) provides prompt, efficient, courteous, and quality service to customers in a convenience store and fuel-service environment. The role includes operating a cash register, greeting and assisting customers, helping with fuel dispensers, handling cash, performing light janitorial duties, and completing other assigned duties. The job description notes that duties and responsibilities may change based on business needs and organizational requirements. Two part-time positions are available at 3605 Pacific Ave., Forest Grove, CA. Shift options are 4:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. for four days or 4 p.m.–12 a.m. The CSA reports to the Retail Store Manager and is classified as non-exempt hourly.
Requirements
- Be flexible to work various schedules.

- Perform simple math, including counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
- Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 20–50 pounds.
- Be comfortable working in a convenience store environment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and abide by the Dress Code Policy.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor toward customers and fellow employees.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with daily exposure to gasoline and oil products.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly service to customers.
- Greet and assist customers.
- Operate the cash register for convenience store and gasoline purchases; assistance is available if needed.
- Account for all money, cigarettes, and lottery tickets on the assigned shift.
- Check product expiration dates and face off product.
- Follow proper safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with fuel dispensers, cash handling, and light janitorial duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
