About The Position

The Customer Service Associate helps provide a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, completing sales transactions, maintaining merchandise and stock, and supporting store safety and cleanliness. The role includes handling cash register duties and cash security, receiving and replenishing merchandise, unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean, neat, and presentable store. Associates are expected to interact professionally and courteously with customers, coworkers, and leaders, and to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor level to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet physical demands including frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions while working an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.
Help maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
